The agreement that applies to Agent Workbench depends on how you acquired and use it. Marketplace offers and the free companion preview keep separate acceptance records.

## Agreement by channel

When you acquire an Agent Workbench offer through Microsoft Marketplace, the [Microsoft Standard Contract](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/legal/marketplace/standard-contract) applies when that contract is stated in the accepted offer or order. Your accepted offer or order identifies the governing agreement.

The Microsoft 365 Copilot offer and any paired SaaS offer have separate records. Check the offer or order for the plan, price, availability, and agreement that apply.

This guide explains which agreement applies. It does not replace or amend the agreement you accepted.

## Product scope

Agent Workbench helps you create, inspect, evaluate, revise, and repair Microsoft 365 Copilot agents and plugins. Copilot performs conversational inference and presents the response.

Celest's hosted processing service receives authorized package material for deterministic package processing and storage. It also runs MCP configuration preflights that inspect a configured endpoint and catalog without invoking arbitrary package tools.

Reports, corrected packages, evaluation results, and preflight results support your review. You decide what to use. They do not promise a correct agent, a safe MCP endpoint, Microsoft acceptance or installation, or Marketplace certification.

Microsoft 365, Copilot, Copilot Cowork, Entra, Graph, Marketplace, and other Microsoft services are separately licensed and operated by Microsoft. Microsoft licenses are not included. Open-source notices and license grants remain in force; this page does not narrow them.
