# Celest Helpdesk Triage product terms

> Terms for the Celest Helpdesk Triage package.

These terms govern the Celest Helpdesk Triage SharePoint Framework package (the
“Package”). Celest AI, Inc. provides the Package free of charge. The [Celest
Terms of Service](https://celest.dev/terms), Terms Version 2026-09-03.1, are
incorporated by reference as described below.

Provider: Celest AI, Inc., 1 Sansome St Ste 1400, San Francisco, CA 94104 · Product terms version: 2026-09-04.2 · Effective: 2026-09-04 · Terms of Service: [Terms Version 2026-09-03.1](https://celest.dev/terms)

## These terms and the Terms of Service

The Celest Terms of Service, Terms Version 2026-09-03.1, at
[https://celest.dev/terms](https://celest.dev/terms) are incorporated by
reference and apply to the Package as the Cloud Service, with this addition: the
Package is Celest-authored client-side code that runs in your Microsoft 365
tenant under the signed-in user’s permissions, creates and updates SharePoint
lists and site files you own, and relies on Microsoft 365 Copilot and SharePoint
that Microsoft hosts; it includes no Celest-hosted runtime, API, MCP server,
connector, database or inference service. Because the Package sends no Customer Content to Celest, Sections 3.1 and 3.2
of the Standard Terms do not apply to the Package; no data processing agreement
is required or offered. The Package is both the Cloud Service and the Software
under the Terms of Service; you may install it in your app catalog, deploy it to
your sites, and edit the agent file and configuration it creates. If your
organization acquired the Package through the Microsoft commercial marketplace,
the Standard Contract for Microsoft Marketplace, as modified by Celest’s
universal amendment, governs, and these product terms supplement it only on
non-conflicting matters. Otherwise, the Celest Terms of Service and these
product terms govern, and where they differ, these product terms govern the
Package.

## Acceptance

Your organization accepts these terms when an administrator, who represents
that they are authorized to bind it, accepts them in the Package’s setup card.
The setup card creates nothing in your tenant before that acceptance, and
records the accepted version with the administrator’s account and the time on
the configuration item it creates. Operators use the Package under that
acceptance.

## Fees

The Package is free under this version of these terms. There is no
subscription, trial, renewal or charge. Any future fee will come under new
product terms, and moving an installed Package to a paid plan, a paid version or
a replacement entitlement requires your organization’s affirmative agreement; a
fee never applies to an installed version without it. “Subscription Period” in
the Terms of Service means the period the Package is installed.

## What the Package does

Microsoft 365 Copilot, operated by Microsoft under your Microsoft agreements,
proposes one exact change to a ticket. A person reviews, edits and approves the
change in the card. Only then does the Package apply it to your SharePoint lists
with the ticket’s version check, read the result back, and record the run.

## Product limits

A change to a ticket is proposed, then applied only after a person approves it
in the card. The Package sends no mail, closes no tickets, creates no tickets during
triage (the only tickets it creates are the optional fictional samples), and
creates no records beyond the run record and the setup items described in the [privacy notice](https://celest.dev/helpdesk-triage/privacy). It does not
deliver approvals through Teams or Agent 365 in this release. The Package runs nowhere but your tenant and sends nothing to Celest;
Microsoft 365 Copilot’s model runs in Microsoft’s service under your Microsoft
agreements.

## Your responsibilities

- Keep the Package’s users within the SharePoint permissions your organization intends; the Package acts with the signed-in user’s permissions.
- Review a proposal before approving it; approval applies exactly the change shown.
- Use the Package under your Microsoft agreements, including those for Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- Keep secrets out of tickets, and do not email ticket contents to Celest.

## Microsoft

SharePoint, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft 365 Copilot are Microsoft services under
your agreements with Microsoft. Celest processes no customer content for the
Package and is not a processor of your ticket data.

Independent software. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.

## Support

Support is best-effort through [support@celest.dev](mailto:support@celest.dev),
with no response-time commitment. Report an incorrect or inappropriate proposal
the same way.

## Ending use

Your tenant administrator can remove the Package from the app catalog at any
time; the [uninstall page](https://celest.dev/helpdesk-triage/uninstall) says
how and what stays in your lists. Celest may stop distributing a version of the
Package for a security reason and will say so on this site.

## Versions

Celest versions these terms and records each version’s effective date on this
page and in the [archive of every version](https://celest.dev/helpdesk-triage/terms/versions/).
Publication on this page is notice. A new version that materially changes your
organization’s rights or obligations binds your organization only when an
administrator accepts it in the Package’s setup card or in writing; until then,
the version accepted at setup continues to apply to the installed Package. A
new version that does not materially change rights or obligations applies from
its effective date.
