Terms for the
free companion.
Free access to your Agent Workbench setup hub, for business use. These product terms cover the hosted companion account.
Agreement
These Agent Workbench companion terms form a product-specific Cover Page to the Common Paper Cloud Service Agreement Standard Terms v2.1, which are incorporated by reference. Capitalized terms have the meanings given in those Standard Terms. This Cover Page controls if it conflicts with the Standard Terms.
The Provider is Celest AI, Inc. The Customer is the business or business user identified in the account confirmation. By accepting these terms and creating an account, you confirm that you have authority to accept them for the Customer. The Effective Date is the recorded account confirmation date. These terms cover the hosted companion; Celest's general package-only terms do not govern this service.
The free companion
The Cloud Service is the Celest-hosted Agent Workbench companion: an account with saved setup progress, Cowork and Microsoft 365 Copilot guides, practice files and prompts, and account management. Your access is free. There are no usage-based fees, payment details, or automatic conversion to a paid plan. A future paid service would require a separate agreement.
The Subscription Period begins when you confirm account creation and continues until you or Celest closes the account under this agreement. There is no automatic renewal charge. The service does not store or process your agent packages or conversations; package review and repair take place in the Microsoft service where you use the plugin.
Access and use
The companion is for internal business purposes, including work by independent business owners. You may sign in with a personal Microsoft account or a work or school account. The type of sign-in account does not change this business-use restriction.
A companion account includes access to the setup hub. Microsoft 365 Copilot, Cowork, their licenses, and any plugin installation or preview invitation are separate. You are responsible for having the Microsoft access required for the features you use. Microsoft operates its services under its own terms.
- Keep account details accurate and protect access to your Microsoft account.
- Use the service lawfully and in accordance with the use restrictions in the Standard Terms.
- Review package examples and guidance before using them. Microsoft validation and certification are separate checks.
- Do not enter passwords, tokens, private keys, or sensitive customer content in companion fields or support messages.
The companion privacy notice explains the identity, account, and setup information the service uses.
Support and availability
Support is available by email at [email protected] on a best-effort basis. This free preview includes no service-level agreement or response-time commitment. Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. Keep any setup information you need independently.
Celest may suspend access when needed to address misuse, a legal obligation, or a threat to the service. We will give notice when reasonably practical. Changes to these terms will use a new version and will apply to your account only if you accept them.
Closing an account
You may end the subscription at any time by deleting the companion account in Account settings or contacting support. Celest may end this free preview on notice. There are no cancellation charges.
Account deletion removes the active companion account and saved progress and revokes its sessions. Backup and support-record handling is described in the privacy notice. This action does not delete the Microsoft account or uninstall a plugin.
Legal terms
The Standard Terms govern rights to the service, Customer Data, confidentiality, warranty disclaimers, indemnities, and limits of liability, subject to this Cover Page and applicable law. No separate SLA, security schedule, or professional-services commitment is incorporated into this preview.
